Fly Fishing Classes
Intro to Fly Fishing - $125 This class is designed to
provide you with a strong foundation of knowledge regarding the sport of
fly fishing. The first
portion will be spent in the shop where we will be going over equipment
(how to choose what’s right for you, and how to care for it), knots,
fishing conditions, and entomology (how to choose a fly). The next portion, we’ll work on
casting on the pond at nearby Lion’s Park. The remainder of the class will be
spent on Clear Creek where students will have the opportunity to apply the
knowledge to the water. Here,
you will learn how to read the water (where are the fish?), we’ll go over
stream etiquette, and best of all, you’ll receive hands-on guided
instruction while fishing! We request a minimum of 2 anglers for this
class.
