Clear Creek

Considered our home water with over 20 miles of access, Colorado's Clear Creek is an often overlooked fishery that begins right outside our door. Starting with the “Golden Mile” here in Golden, the creek extends to within an hour's drive. Clear Creek offers anglers the chance to catch brook and cutthroat trout near its headwaters, as well as browns and rainbows along the whole stretch that are eager for flies year round. Clear Creek fishes well, with the exception of runoff (typically in June), from approximately spring break to Thanksgiving and is perfect for a half day trip close to home or a full day of exploration.

Bear Creek

Near the historic town of Morrison, this stream offers beautiful scenery and the fish to go with it. You won't find record breakers in this creek, but we're confident your arms will ache and your hands will smell like fish by the time your trip is over. Be sure to check out Lair o' the Bear Park for some excellent trail side fishing and for great chances to view wildlife.

This is where the colossal fish hide. Whether it's in town or downstream you'll have the chance to catch 25-inchers in this river. There's also the possibility of the Grand Slam--Rainbow, Brown, Brook, and Cutthroat all in one day. Bring a net!
