While Kyle grew up in Oklahoma, Kyle spent nearly every summer fishing the waters around Pagosa Springs and Durango. Once he finished his degree at the University of Oklahoma, Kyle made the move to the Front Range full time. After guiding and putting time in working at a local fly shop, Kyle moved on to work for Trout Unlimited, as well as his own freelance copywriting business. Kyle is back in the retail world running the day to day of our fly fishing shop and guide business.

caleb Ward

Caleb picked up a fly-rod for the first time at the age of thirteen on the Provo River. He cut his teeth fly fishing on the crystal spring creeks of Long Island, as well as the famed Beaverkill and Willowemoc of the Catskills. Since then, he has traveled the world in pursuit of his passion and it has brought him to some incredible waters. He has targeted Steelhead and Salmon on the Salmon River in Pulaski, NY, Rainbow trout on the Yakima River in Washington State and the freestone streams of Argentina, Bonefish on the flats of Belize, and Brown and Rainbow trout on the South Platte. He splits his time guiding out of Denver and traveling to write about the conservational aspects of fly-fishing. There is nothing Caleb loves more than teaching people the right way to get involved in the sport of fly-fishing. His attention to detail, and educational style of guiding will ensure you leave the river knowing more than when you stepped into it.
