Part-Time Sales Associate (Fly Shop)

Golden River Sports looking to add a part-time retail staff member to help out in our fly shop, with potential to promote to full-time as early as March 2026

Duties Include:

• Retail customer service including product knowledge and local knowledge of creeks and rivers

• Customer checkouts

• Phone calls

• Process outgoing and incoming rentals (rods, waders, boots, etc.)

• Stocking inventory

• Cleaning and organizing rentals and the store on a daily basis

• Opening/closing store procedures and all the tasks associated

 Qualifications should include:

•  Love of the outdoors!

•  Outdoor retail customer service. Fly fishing experience preferred, knowledge of whitewater kayaking a plus!

•  Good verbal and written communication skills

•  POS (point of sale) Quickbooks experience a plus, but can be trained on the job

•  Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation

•  Must be able to stand as well as move-n-groove in a fun, fast paced environment

•  Must be able to work occasional holidays and some weekends.  Work schedule is set for 9:15am to 6:15pm. Please do not apply if this doesn’t fit for you.
