The West Denver Chapter of Trout Unlimited is proud to present its 42nd Annual Fly Tying Clinic on February 10, 2018 from 9am to 3pm at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds with Golden River Sports as a sponsor. This event features over 50 of the best tiers in the Rocky Mountain region, including local luminaries such as Charlie Craven, Pat Dorsey, Greg Garcia, Landon Mayer, and contract tiers from Umpqua Feather Merchants. Price of admission is $15 at the door, $10 with a $5 discount coupon from us. Children 12 years of age and under are free.
There will be door prizes, and TU will have their giant bucket raffle with new and lightly used fishing items. You can also purchase raffle tickets for their “Fantasy Raffle”, a package valued over $4,000, featuring a custom-made bamboo rod and a vast array of fly fishing accouterments including books and materials.

In addition to TU's noted tiers, they will have Alan Kube, recently named “Bamboo Rod Maker of the Year”, to talk about the merits of bamboo. And, Jonathan Walter, an IFFF certified master casting instructor, will be available to help you hone your casting strokes.
Finally, come hungry! Delicious lunch selections will be available for purchase.
All funds raised by this event go to the Chapter’s Clear Creek restoration efforts, its education activities, and to its myriad community outreach programs.
